This is my first guest feature on our BBest Blog and I’m so excited to share with you some beautiful work from another team I belong to. I’d like to introduce you to some wonderful and talented artists from the POE team (Photographers on Etsy). I thought it might be interesting to look at different Sunrises and Sunsets and see different interpretations. Being a photographer I love looking at other photographers works and see their perspective. Drama is a good word to describe the sky in a lot of these photographs I’ve chosen.
The first photograph I will show is my own. I belong to a local Camera Club and we got together for a dawn shoot of the City of Boston. We got there a little late but I was able to get the early morning sun bouncing off a few of the buildings.
Digital artist John Holechek enhances his original photographs to create unique views of the world with his “Free Spirit”. Do we know if this is a sunrise or a sunset, all I see is beauty. I find this a serene masterpiece. You can find more masterpieces when you visit Batfineart’s shop
I was captured by this next photograph because of the children. I’m drawn to photographs of children because of the innocence they portray. When I was reading the description of this photograph it reminded me of what a photographer will go through when trying to get a shot.
“Photographer's Thoughts: Oh what a beautiful scene capturing these children playing in this typical Florida sunset, but at what a price. To get a shot of children and of a sunset one has to patiently wait a rather long time. Well! As I waited, the infamous Florida “No See ‘Ems” had a field day on me. I had about 30 to 40 bits from the near invisible critters that lasted for over a week. You know what? It was worth it wasn’t it. I love children and I love sunsets. A small price to pay.”
This made me laugh……one needs patience and bug spray. Please visit Finfera and see his other amazing shots.
I love flowers and sunsets and this next photograph by eringarrisondesigns is titled Sunset Wishes. The colors are so striking and smooth that it just brings you right into the photograph. Don’t forget to take a look at her shop for her other creations.
This next photograph named “Brand New Day” captivated my attention with the morning sun rays coming thru the trees. I’ve tried over and over again to capture those moments but once again patience comes into the picture, no pun intended. This is also a TTV (Through The Viewfinder) which is a process I love too. Please visit Buckscountyframes to see more amazing photography.
Its always nice to find local talent. My last photograph is a local gal Knight27. Of course I was attracted to this photograph for the sunset sky and of course the Lighthouse. This photograph was taken in Nantucket at Brant Point. I find this photograph amazing.
These are just a few of the talented photographers on Etsy. Next time your in need of a photograph don’t forget to use POE in your search.
