Shops beginning with "A"

In the Storque was an etsy street team tip on how to Build a Team Etsy Mini.

I picked a favorite item from every member's shop that starts with the letter "A". I made an etsy mini and whoooo hooooo....a mini with links.

'Words of Wisdom from Hunter S. Thompson'

CONGRATULATIONS Peg!!!! She wins this beautiful 1st place ribbon.

The FREE gemstone earrings donated by Sandy Simone went to sparklepants.

Support a California team

One of our BBEST members, Peg Grady, is also a member of the California Crafters Club of Etsy. CCCOE had a challenge for its members during the month of August. Members created items with "Typography" as the theme. Peg is inviting BBEST members to vote for your favorite.

A lucky voter will win a free pair of gemstone earrings from SandySimone.

Here is the forum link to look at the items and place your vote.

Thanks Peg for asking for our input. http://www.peggradyart.etsy.com/

We are a REAL Street Team

Yes, it's true. How exciting is that! Here is the link on etsy to see our profile.
If for some reason your shop is not listed in the members section, contact us via email and we'll make sure you're listed.

And more good news. We've created a GALLERY of items from member's shops. We featured two items each. Please chceck it out and visit each other often.

Boomer Avatar

We've got a temporary banner. We still need someone to volunteer to run a contest. If you go to our message board under "The Boom-Town Hall", there is a thread "Group Project Leader". This tells you the responsibilities of running the banner contest. Please volunteer by emailing boomersetsy@gmail.com.

Here is an avatar for BBEST. Feel free to use it. Right click the avatar and save it to your hard drive. It's sized to 75 x 75 pixels for use as an etsy avatar.

This image is sized at 1000 x 1000 pixels. You can use it as one of the five pictures for items in your shop. Right click the image to save it to your hard drive.

I put both it in my shop. Take a peek here.

POSTER WINNER

Congratulations to Judith from noduplicates whose poster was selected as a winner in the etsy poster contest. She was 1 of the 60 selected out of the over 900 submissions.
According to Jared, "Etsy wants to give away more stuff at the festivals we attend. These posters will be given to attendees and as a way to showcase a few of the amazing items at Etsy, help promote Etsy as a marketplace to buy and sell all things handmade, and showcase our community's outstanding artistic eye! "

Here is the link to all the winning posters and the honorable mentions.
Nice work Judith!
